This week, Year 5 went on a virtual trip to Robben Island (the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 24 years). We explored the prison, including the cell that Mandela was kept prisoner in.

Y3 are learning about the Iron Age & what people ate during the Iron Age. During the Iron Age, Celts used barley and rye to make porridge. So, as part of DT, children in Y3 taste-tested a range of different porridges & gave feedback as to which porridge they preferred & why.

As part of our history unit 'The Great Fire of London', Year 2 took a virtual tour of Pudding Lane and the surrounding areas to find out more about where the fire started and how it spread.
