Attendance Ambassadors

The Attendance Ambassadors are a group of children who have been elected by their peers to help improve and maintain good and excellent attendance and punctuality across the whole school.

The Attendance Ambassadors are made up of two representatives (two boys and two girls from each of the Year 4 and 5 classes).

The Attendance Ambassadors, through our Golden Rights, hope to help children to:

The Attendance Ambassadors are allocated a year group which they are responsible for visiting each week. They meet with children whose attendance is below 97% and/or have poor punctuality. Reasons given by children and advice shared by the Attendance Ambassadors are recorded in a book. This is monitored by the Attendance Lead and Home School Liaison Officer and appropriate action is put in place such as holding Parent and/or Class Attendance Workshops.
