Unlocking Potential (UP Foundation)

UP Foundation is a school-based charity offering therapeutic support to both children and their families.

Being a child can sometimes be a confusing and stressful time. The Unlocking Potential Foundation offers children who find themselves in challenging situations. A weekly space is provided so they can meet with a grown-up outside of their family to help them understand and manage their feelings and emotions. This can also be a creative time where they can learn themselves through play and the arts. Therapy is provided by both qualified and trainee therapists.

The UP team works closely with parents and school staff to ensure they offer the most appropriate help and achieve the best possible outcomes for the child. They do this through individual therapy sessions, group sessions, lunchtime, and after-school clubs, as well as fun days and school trips.
